Roasting

As a light roast Lazy Sunday is gentle on the palate and mellows into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa influences of Latin America smooth the brew while Africa brings citrus hints to bring the balance. The result is a coffee that can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Preheating your vessel by adding water that has just boiled will keep it warm. After the brewing process, let the coffee sit for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been saturated and are not over-extracted. The water is then moved through the grounds using the plunger. Do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could result in unpleasant components in your cup.

Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, ideal for weekend getaways.

Stores

Lazy Sunday is a smooth light roast with citrus, sweet and cocoa aroma. It has a soft mouthfeel that sooths the palette. The cocoa notes can be traced back to the winter days spent on the sofa, reading a book and the warmth of a hug from the family. Make sure to heat your French Press by using water that isn't yet at the boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from absorbing too much and forming undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml water that just boiled. Then, after four minutes, you can take a plunge, and enjoy.
